The United Human Rights Organization (UHRO)
is a nationally recognized, non-governmental, notfor-
profit organization dedicated to the protection
and promotion of human rights across Sri Lanka.
Founded in 2018, UHRO operates under official
registration in accordance with the Voluntary Social
Services Organizations (Registration and
Supervision) Act No. 31 of 1980, as amended by
Act No. 8 of 1998.
Driven by a team of committed professionals and
human rights advocates, UHRO works to build a
just and inclusive society where human dignity,
equality, and fundamental rights are respected,
protected, and fulfilled for all individuals—
regardless of background or status.
